I want to add some covers over the seahood and hatch boards as well as the instruments and control panel. Currently around the seahood and companionway there are old snap fittings and some old lift a dot fittings... I want to go to a single style and make covers for those areas.
So any opinions on what works best and why? Snaps have the advantage of being the lowest profile... twist seem to be most common for sail covers and probably don't like to be on decks (too easy to kick and ruin).
So what say the old salts out there?
