much of a step on hazard... and less likely to break than the twist type.

I have several of those lift-a-dots already, and I hate stepping on those with bare feet.

The only downside I have ever seen with snaps is that they seem to build up deposits over the years and become harder to use... but I suppose the answer is just good maint.
