I'm not sure what kind of radar signal you could depend on?

Bizare is correct! Unbelievable that our Government would leave them out there UNLIGHTED? Either drop them, or at least, keep some lights on them like any other markers.

Issuing a Notice of Mariners is a pretty bullshit way of leaving such a hazard out there.

- Don't know about those, but there are also several out in the Gulf of Mexico
  - Are those unlighted?
    - Can't say- we saw them on the charts after having pur ears knocked off by a couple of booms
