Whichever OS you have, do a web search on how to run "traceroute " then run it on cruising.sailboatowners.com. That will tell you if there's a choke point in your internet connection. If no big latency, then look to your own computer. Do you use antivirus? Which?

Do you have any "browser plugins? Any browser toolbars or search helpers? Any coupon printers or weatherbug? Do you use AIM? If so uninstall ALL that crap, that's probably the issue. If not just try reboot, try a different browser. Scan for virus or spyware.
