They are made by Advanced Elements for West and I believe are the equivalent to Advanced Element Advanced Frame Sports.

We've had them for 4 seasons now and are starting on the 5th. We've been very pleased with them and have used them from the Thousand Islands in upstate NY to the Florida Gulf Coast and lots of places in between. They are slow compared to a good hard shell kayak but are sturdy and stable. They get blown around in a breeze but handle waves well. We are careful in places with a lot of sharp shells but have had no problems with them. The Advanced Elements website has a video showing set-up and it really is that easy. We bought them to get us out on the water when we are traveling in the travel trailer but we've found that they are such an easy way to get out on the water, that they have somewhat supplanted sailing. If it's spur of the moment or we only have a couple of hours, we are far more likely to go kayaking even though we only live a couple of miles from the boat. We are also only a couple of miles from probably a dozen places to launch the kayaks so that adds a lot of variety to our time on the water. During the summer when we are not traveling, they live inflated on the front porch and all we have to to is throw them on the back of the pick-up and go.
