In Windows I usually right-click an image and choose "properties", then I can copy the URL and paste it anywhere. In iOS I press on image in Safari, select copy. Then open a new tab in Safari, highlight that URL, and paste it there, you can then copy the link. If the image has a link you can't paste the image's URL, only the link. You can't copy an image's address and paste it straight into a post.

... and don't get me started about why they're on version 8.x and still can't figure out how to parse phone extensions so they're recognized. iOS tries to dial the whole number including extension so you get a misdial. Blackberry had that figured out in version 1.0 years before the iPhone, and dials the first part, then prompts a button to trigger dialing for the extension.
