So...I found out with local help that I had to move photos from iPhoto to......

() ..."pictures" where it turns out I can size, color, etc. the photos and access them from the "choose file" arm that comes up. I don't need to "browse", just know how this more complex system works using my Mac ProBook.
I MAY have it down, time will tell. At least I know the direction to go.
