This is the 3rd LaBoat that I'm familiar with. The fisherman is a nice soft spoken Mainer, keeps to himself. Works hard, always has a smile. His boats are disasters!

I don't know why he went to LaBoatIII. She was previously WANDERING JEW, a lobsterboat that I thought was permenantly beached along Route 17, inland. LaBoatIII should have stayed on the roadside, I worry she's going down any day now,....

Photo was LaBoatII, all glass. This and LaBoat, the original(wood), were both black hulled. I think it may be the color that has brought on his bad luck.

The fisherman has a pleasant partner that often comes down and sits in the car waiting for him to come in. A pretty Asian woman also with a nice smile, like his. She's quiet too.

The Maine license plate on her Subaru says, LaGirl, I kid you not.
