Here's a close up of the original, LaBoat.

She was black hulled, this is the area rubbed raw by traps.

At first glance, this photo might make you grimace. But this is a close up of a man's life on the water, not always pretty like a pleasure boat.

All these lobsterboats, like the men(and a few women) that work them, are different. Some are flashy, shiny, clean. Some, like LaBoat are dog eared, worn, grimy. While you might think this guy is down on his luck, the boats don't necessarily say anything about a fisherman's financial success.

I think this guy does fine, he's just tighter than bark on a tree.
