I picked up a bad habit in Italy. My son got me hooked on the simple espresso. No nonesense intense coffee in a tiny cup, Italian style(tasted different than US espresso). I soon became acclimated to not only the 2 gulps, but the whole zen of it.
Standing at the bar, a croissant, just a small pause in the day. Even though I would order another tiny cup in the morning, I was happy without my american sized coffee ritual(2 units American). And also more inclined to have one during the day(unlike US coffee, I rarely indulge during the day)
Now my coffee, old gen drip, doesn't taste as good. Maybe I should get my french press out of mothballs? What do you do, Dave? Keep your teeth clenched to filter the grounds?
