You didn't mention an itinerary - any plans?
Penobscot Bay is wonderful. Wonderful carries through to Deer Isle and even Winter Harbor. If you go past Schoodic, be prepared - there's not much in the way of support or provisions. Even fresh water becomes hard to find. Finding fuel is another issue. Food not so much - treat the lobstermen right and you'll get invites to church suppers!
Highly recommend the islands out off Jonesport - fine anchorage and great scenery. Watch out climbing some of the high points - the eagles are quite territorial and will let you know when they're not happy.
