There are actually a few trawlers for sale in our area, however they are all "well used". There is one Nordic Tug over the New York line but it is well out of our price range.

We are weighing the plus and minus of looking out of our area. Obviously the season for us is winding down, the logistics of looking at and purchasing a boat elsewhere on the Great Lakes will be a time consuming deal as well. We said early on that we would limit our search to local boats because neither of us have the time or the desire to spend weeks on the road looking or deal with the logistics of getting a boat back here.

BTW, when I say winding down, I mean we start hauling boats for the winter 6 weeks from this Saturday. We would not have ours out of the water that early but some do. Fall sports,kids back at school.
