...anchor sure grabs hard!
After many years of anchoring with our trusty CQR, I finally took the bait and switched anchors! I think it was Jon Eisbers account of his Tashmoo adventure that got me thinking...
That and the fact that I had just added 250 pounds of generator in the back of Esmeralde convinced me that a chain rode and perhaps a new anchor were in order.
Well we set it for the first time tonight and WOW, it set fast and stopped the boat!!!
There may be something to this...We certainly feel secure!
