with winds into the 60's. This in a marina on Bayou Chico Happened so fast that the Parasail guys out on Pensacola Bay didn't have time to get folks down- two went to hospital.
Anyway- a fellow there on a 45 foot boat had a pair of anchors on his bow- a VERY large CQR and really big Danforth. His boat had done some serious bouncing around and after the winds quit,, we noticed that the crossarm on the Danforth was rammed through the hole on top of the plow that is used for a buoy line, or whatever. Took about ten minutes and a 3 pound sledge to drive it back out.
The anchors were stuck together above his bobstay, so no way on earth he could have anchored the boat had it not been seen.
