        • I may have to do that way. PT amazingly rot resistant, but it checks like crazy if not protected.
          • Does the extrusion below that the PT Plate sits on drain?
            • No it is flat. The whole railing system sits on plastic spacer blocks to keep it dry.
              • You could glue it down...
