In Response To: Eight oysters is not a man's serving . . . ()

Fellow working for me went to Annapolis for a meet with the Navy. Night before the meeting he stopped at one of the waterfront places and had a half dozen on the half shell. Told me he must have gotten a bad one - only 5 worked.

Does anyone have experience painting a strip-built wooden hull with Awlgrip?
- No specific experience but..
  - After building, and painting some 12-15 boats in the last 15 years, I agree with Al
    - Dang! And I painted Jaunty with 100% acrylic house paint....with a roller.
      - Should be just fine- holds up for years on houses I've used Acrylic enamels inside boats 20 yrs
        
        I consider it an experiment worth of, say, Practical Sailor and their bottom paint tests. Heh.
