I just came back today to the forum and found out about Jon. This is a very sad day for me and the rest of the members as evident from the list of posts from all of you.

I meet Jon a few times in SailExpo when it was still done in NJ and he was a great sailor and a great person to know.
He always joked about my "Steel" yacht that is indestructible when I wrote about things I do with her.

I did not expect this kind of news when I cam back to the board and I will miss him and his fun, informative, colorful writing.

May he rest in peace in sailor haven, where he will enjoy his sailing forever on.
