Good question Tom. Last spring I traveled (can''t say sailed- adverse winds) from Texas to Florida
on the Gulf ICW and returned. I found HUGE numbers of buoys either missing, or off station, so electronic Nav was a huge help. But still??? And part of that was Galveston Texas to New Orleans La, THE busiest part of the entire ICW (I've run it ALL three times)
And I still ran aground once-ugh
