I have a couple friends who are pro photographers that use them regularly. They do a combination of video and stills. One guy does high end real estate images and it has paid off big time for him. The other guy shoots outdoor sports and adventure travel. It has paid off for him as well. Both continue to use them because of the cash and the variation on their artistic outlook. If you are looking for something like that you will continue to use it. If you just want a cool toy your mileage may differ.
