I rarely feel the need for radar (I've never had it so don't know what I'm missing). The pre wireless radar systems are too much 'stuff' to deal with. I surmise you still need to mount a radom. That wouldn't be too bad, if it's not huge and not heavy.

So you use a tablet and or phone screen? That's a great idea and fits on my old boat. How much does it cost?
