I've used two and the stands have broken on both. The newest one I have is a Mr Heater Little Buddy https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Heater-F215100-3800-BTU-Propane/dp/B001CFRF7I/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1476989019&sr=8-4&keywords=catalytic%2Bpropane%2Bheater&th=1 and the tip over switch is so ultra sensitive it's ridiculous. I won't recommend any of them for reliability, but the heat is nice. The one caveat about the heat from Catalytic heaters is that water vapor is emitted, so I recommend ventilation. I also recommend a CO detector even though they claim it's safe for indoors. (I wouldn't go to sleep with one on, nor leave it on if feeling sleepy).

Don't forget they're made in China and engineered to a price point.
