I took the Force 10 Kero unit home for repairs after I almost burned down the boat trying to get it working. In my further repair efforts (you guessed it) I almost burned down the house! Unit went into the recycle bin, never to be seen again.
As for pressure alcohol stoves, those are REALLY scary! The weak link is the line between the tank and the burners. What if you get a leak somewhere in that line? Your only shutoff is at the burner end - not at the tank. You get a leak while cooking and you're in trouble - that fire isn't going out until the tank is empty!
