Well, Friday doesn't look too good for bending on sails according to windty.com. A leisurely cruise south doesn't appear to be in the cards although, I'd be quite happy to do 10's southbound under jib only! As a PNW bound boat, heat was definitely part of the package but it's going to burn some propane in small tanks. Main concern is frosting up the tanks and high consumption rate. (externally vented Dickenson P-12000's, one in each hull). I can only see 10 days ahead for the weather forecast and it looks like I'll be missing those good N'ly and NW'lies. Maybe they'll hang around at least another week...after that. I'm planning on being 'not in a hurry' but evermindful that I don't have much time to waste.
