I'm not a fan of offshore multi-hulls. Maybe its because I'm a fuddy duddy. But being caught outside when one "flips" in a seaway would have too high a probability of a very bad day for anyone out in a cockpit on on the deck trying to adjust lines. You have very few places to hide.

        The article you posted implied it was cyclonic wind (water spout or something bigger).
