Full sail trying to squeeze every last knot out and hit what we think was ~ a 35kt gust. The port side amas' bow was driven under water and the starboard came up damned high and pointed down; the equivalent of a knockdown in a mono. However, just as in a mono when the wind slipped off the top of the sails she came back (rather slowly too.....it settled down nicely).
I was probably far from going over but it sure as hell felt like it for a few brief milliseconds.
This was all in a 600 acre lake......hardly a heavy seas condition. I can see where this might have happened to Leapard suddenly even though prepped with reefs. Things happen fast on multihulls
