The possibility of flipping over is real but remote. That's not why I prefer a monohull. I'm much more likely to find myself scraping over a rock or coral reef when the anchor drags or I just wasn't paying enough attention. I remember hearing, a couple of years ago, of two multihulls who got into trouble near Mayaguana in the Bahamas. One fouled their anchor rode and ended up on a reef. The other tried to help. Both were a total loss. I like all that lead underneath to forgive my errors.
