There's a house in my town that had aluminum shingles over fifty years ago. They STILL look good!

I've put steel "standing rib" roofing on two houses now and much prefer it over composite. I actually miss it on the house I bought last winter, can't hear the rain the same.

- I put the cheapest 3 tab shingles from Home Depot on 10 years ago
