Who places that that thought process into the mind of a hapless victim of a broken leg, a head injury, a heat attack or 1000 other things that all of us who ventue offshore worry about. They deserve what they get? Is that the argument? They go out ill prepared because they know rescue is certain? most of our winter time was spent in going over systems on the boat, preparing for redundancies, checking the ditch kit, renewing bobbins and batteries. It was our enjoyment and pleasure to be concidered "well founded" and prepared and I was just a coastal cruiser.
