helping a friend

i went to look at a boat the other day, met with the owner for hours and ending up making a friend.
She's selling a Morris 26 Victoria, which was the right boat for me, one boat earlier (long story).

She's spent most of her life on the water, starting with a family adventure on board an alden schooner with her family of 7 brothers/sisters from 2 to 8 years.
She's written a book about her sailing adventure from NH to Fl on board a 'good little boat', a pearson 22 ensign. she's written about it in "A Great Big Adventure on a Good Little Boat" I'm about 1/3 thru the book. its well written and a good read. she's inserted some timely quotes, this one from Mark Twain: 'traveling by boat is the best way to travel, unless one can stay home.'

about her boat: QUALITY MAINE BUILT BOAT 1984. Fiberglass hull. Located in Sarasota Fl. Set up to single hand. Everything is new, from her new awlgrip topsides, new standing and running rigging, and tan bark sails. Current price is 36k.

More about Linda, shes been a builder in Rye NH, operated a diving course on the isle of shoals, now residing in Fl

Back in the early days of this or CWBB, when Phil M first appeared, he owned a Morris. I reached out for him yesterday for some input, nothing heard.

A knowledgeable owner, she's the kind of person to buy a boat, house, or car from.
