Annabelle in Turtle Bay

Its probably not that Enreque was so bad - its just the folks at Anabelle were so nice. We were stuck there with engine problems delivering a boat for three days. Anabelle - whose actual name I can't remember now, arranged a mechanic, hung out with us, put fuel on and off the boast - we are talking about 200 gallons here, and his wife made us burritos. He also drove us into town twice. We paid for his time naturally, but not very much.

We heard about Enrique's rescue - true story - but he is a sharp businessman and Annabelle is cutting into his business. When we were there the first time in 2007 he made us wait for two days, promising he would be right over. One time I was there on the dock for a delivery, and his kids handled it just fine - the other time we used Anabelle. Those guys will really be busy when the HaHa gets there - there were 4 boats in the back harbor and two at Anabelles when we were there in May.

The HaHa is good for business - people are already talking about it in Mazatlan.
