Dan, no, we did not get stuck on the beach that evening. The owner of the boat I was crewing on & I went ashore in the dinghy earlier in the day and had a pretty exciting but safe landing. All afternoon, the sweel continued to build. Later, after we returned to the boat, we were listening to the VHF & all of us decided to stay on the boat that evening. In retrospect, a good decision.
