GRAYLAND BODY IDENTIFIED, COAST GUARD SEARCHING FOR MISSING BOAT AND OWNER The Grays Harbor County Sheriff has positively identified the woman whose body washed ashore on the Washington coast on Friday morning. Undersheriff Rick Scott says the woman was identified as 47 year old Teri Dascher of Kingston. Scott says Dascher’s family has told investigators that she was traveling with 51 year old John Phillip Stapp of Seattle on his 25 foot Coronado sailboat, the “Connie B”. The vessel was last seen leaving Westport on or about October 18th and it was believed the two were sailing south with the intent of sailing to the South Pacific. Investigators say they believe that, by the amount of debris that washed ashore on Friday with Dascher’s body, some sort of accident occurred involving the “Connie B”. The Coast Guard is continuing to search for any signs of the boat or Stapp, who is described as and experienced sailor.
