Their lifetime guarantee means nothing. The binocs are great but if anything goes wrong you will pay for repairs.

The compass in mine dried up and they referred me to a repair shop in California. They refused to honor their guarantee. It cost me a third of what I paid for them to replace the compass. I spent a lot of time on the phone with them and got nowhere.

All things considered, I use the compass so rarely that if I had to buy them again I would skip the compass.
