Hmmm. Engine manual might help

It's got to be there -- or SHOULD be there

On mine it's just another small metal tab in the maze of convoluted components. It doesn't look like it was made to be moved by hand, but it does move and cuts off the fuel. It's the little yellow metal tab next to the throttle cable in this image. The solenoid is next to it, beneath the bundle of hose.

I can't imagine what my wife sees when she looks at the engine... to her it is just a mass of complicated metal that makes no sense, and she doesn't want to know either. Tried explaining but it might as well be impressionist art .
