After waiting about 4 more hours for the PB to work in. After I removed the wheels I could see where the PB had penetrated... pretty cool stuff.
I knocked the studs (lugs) out of the hubs and was able to inject more PB at those points and then just waited and later walloped it with a bigger hammer. I was quite surprised to see the wheel suddenly come loose.
I'll check the bearings, but this means I can save the cost of new hubs.
Keeps the project at a nice minimal cost. I'll buy new galvanized rims and grease them where they contact the hubs... for future removal. Looks like I'll have my beach cat back in the water soon.
Between the beach cat, the sailing club, and the two boats I am crewing on... I am racking up the sailing time. Woo Hoo!
