... the Foss Harbor manager (where we keep our boat presently) agree's that the Green Taliban are waay out of hand ... bur they have asked us to "not use soaps" when washing our boats but have NOT told us we can't wash our boats with water ... I seem to have good results with a little scrubbing and a high pressure nozzle and its time for me to put a coat of wax on the topsides which always removes any of the collected debris ...

... I do believe that when that happens (no washing of our boats w/tap water) there will be a mass exodus to waterway on the other side of Commencement Bay where common sense seems to still prevail (and many open slips for my size boat) ... in fact since our Marina started to charge folks another $100 for the storage units many live a-boards have already left and we seem to have a few open slips for the asking ...

... I have always tried to be inconspicuous when washing the boat down the last couple of years (do it on off times) and pay attention to who is in the waterway prior to starting ... its a pain but so far I have not seemed to drawn any unwanted attention to myself ... of course now that I've said that ... murphy may play into the game ...
