I was just out at my marina the last few days and I was able to pull in the Optimum Wifi signal, log on the internet , and watch tv using my slingbiox. The thing is, I am only connected at 11Mbps. Now my question involves this Alpha unit you have mentioned. Can this unit attach directly to the laptop via a usb connector, or does it only connect to a router? I couldn't find the answer to that on Alpha's website.
