I guess it may be intentional, but I've been putting off the antenna gig for years, hoping I won't be hostage to the WiFi when on the Bahamas trips, and if we really need the Internet, I can usually get it someplace. I can't tell you how many times I've seen boats anchor in the Bahamas, a half hour later pick up and move a 1/4 mile 2 or 3 times until they get a signal. But I'm slowly coming around to the fact the antenna wold be nice to have, it would be handy to sit in the boat to get all our weather updates for passages and so on, and for $200 or less for a setup, it sounds like, it would be foolish not to have one.

My question is, without having spent any time so far researching this ... we use MAC computers ... is there one antenna/router system that will work better than others with the MAC ?
