I need to run some wires up to the top of my pedestal guard. Can anyone give a suggestion as to the best way to drill through the aluminum Edson guard? Hole needs to be 3/8 inches. Should I use a punch and then drill? Type of bit? Also, suggestions on how best to seal the hole in the cockpit sole after running the wire up from below.
