Our son sailed the dinghy for hours by himself. At one point he said with a smile, "Dad, you know we never got an inflatable", something he did want when he was younger. I apologized, and we both laughed.

We used the good winds to make several trips a day back and forth to the public landing for what not. We bought some beautiful scallops to cook one night as well as ice cream. We just sat still.
