A seaplane picked us up in Nonquitt for $15 and flew us to Cuttyhunk for the night. There were two inns to choose from. My Dad picked us up in his boat the next day.
Cuttyhunk was a favorite destination from Padanaram, though we spent many nights on short scope in the basin when it was crowded. As the wind picked up one morning we noticed a lot of boats were leaving while we were having breakfast. Umm... actually we were dragging! We powered in circles in the basin while getting things settled, then headed out into the growing chop. Good old Buzzards Bay gave our guests a touch of sea-sickness, a common occurrence.
