() we are running a 13x12 three blade prop which specs out about right for our boat - 6.5 knots (hull speed) at 3400 rpm - 5.5 knots at about 2800 rpm (all in calm conditions and loaded for cruising).
The 2GM20F will produce an honest 16hp at optimal rpm which is more than enough for our boat, and is a huge difference from the old 10/12hp one bangers they came with originally.
