I started going to the BVI's with my parents as a teenager...first trip was in 1974-75? I've been back three times with my family. Things have changed alot, but so has everywhere else....(well there are a couple of islands on the coast of Maine that haven't). I remember going to the Baths on Vigin Gorda back in the 80's and we were the only ones there.....this past April, what a farking zoo! Bad timing I guess on our part, but even getting a mooring was stressful, never do that again unless we go in October.
Anyway I will go back because it's a vacation...things are taken care of.....with a bit of adventure thrown in. I've been to second and third world countries, BVI is definately not third world, yes they have some poverty and crime seems to be on the rise, but still not on the scale of some places.
The picture is from the early days, some of you will recognize it......take a guess.....
