gps replacement
Buy the 76 csx soon as it is obsolete
I think I'll buy a GPSMap 78sc
but where?
Defender
lol. Defender doesn't even sell the GPSMap 78sc
Yabbut I'm always happy there and they are reliable!
Jerry that is not a chart-plotter
478 is discontinued and 620 doesn't come pre-loaded with charts
Didn't realize the 620 doesn't come preloaded with charts -- the 640 does

Go with a larger display if your budget allows
We love our 478
Discontinued?
No doubt.
Looks like the GPSMAP 620 is the closest thing to a replacement
GPSMAP 620 review, and touch screen
Well, yes, and yes, you would've thought so,
I have a Garmin 5212
478 sold for $660
Garmin new products for 2011
but the newer version?

You guys with the new equipment always amaze me...
Hey, stuff dies. I had the same old Garmin 48
You simply reinforced my point...
The world is still round, and granite doesn't move very much up there "Down East" :^)
My point is I wouldn't have new stuff if the old stuff didn't die.
