for over 10 years... it just died last August. No warning just suddenly it no longer turns on.

Good thing I had backed up all my waypoints and favorite tracks over the years onto my computer. Bought a new Garmin and uploaded all the data, no problem. I'll probably get a cheap handheld for a backup.
