... just replaced my much older PHII, which worked perfectly fine. New Head is the Raritan Marine Elegance electric head. I have the Sea Water model (remote pump) and the ME Switch Control. Other than installing the remote pump I did not change any plumbing. Checked all my wiring & plumbing, everything looks good, and per the diagrams. Currently set up for direct overboard discharge, and yes, the sea cock is open.

All the electrical seems to be fine, but the Discharge Pump on the Head is not discharging any water ... never discharged a drop. The sea water pump is working fine, the bowl fills whether I switch to "Water Only" or "Flush". But if I select "Flush" or "Empty Only", the discharge pump motor comes on, but there is no evacuation of water. After a second or two, a small whirlpool of water in the bowl appears, but no discharge of any water.

Sanitation hose is 1.5", the plumbing goes from the Head to a Y-valve, then from there to a Venter Loop and overboard. No elbows. One bend from Head to Y-valve, one bend to Vented Loop, the vented loop bend, then overboard.

It seems like there's an air lock, but that can't be ? I took the Y-valve discharge hose end off, filled with water and put back on. No difference. Also did this upstream of the Vented Loop and again no difference.

Any ideas, other than calling Raritan, which will have to wait until Monday ?
