I think you have a different control, and you have the fresh water as well. I have only the sea water.
Getting water into the bowl is not a problem, evacuating it is. My control is the ME control, I don't think it can be programed. I have only three choices > Water Only, Empty Only, and Flush. When I push Flush, water does come into the bowl. And the Discharge Motor also runs, but no water goes out. I filled the bowl to the brim with both sea water (from the intake pump), and also fresh water (from the shower) and tried to evacuate both. Held the Empty button down for 15 or 20 seconds ... no water left, although the discharge pump is running. The water in the bowl eventually swirls just a little, but that's it, nothing leaves the bowl.
I'm fairly certain the nice folks at Raritan either forgot to secure/fasten down the macerator blades, or the impeller. Or, perhaps they forgot to install one of them ! I haven't taken the motor apart yet. But it sounds like the motor is coming on just fine and the shaft spinning like it should ... it's just not spinning anything. It sounds like a bilge pump running with no impeller, or what your prop would do if you forgot to put the key in.
