I wouldn't exactly call it animosity

but the lobster fishermen near Stonington (Maine) have a lot of attitude. Sort of a wize-guy attitude that reminds
me of some New Yorkers. Oddly, at many nearby ports in Maine they don't have this attitude: in fact, they are often
quiet, reserved and - dare I say? - humble. I guess it's a distinct sub-culture.
