Hi Tom & SG

As you note, Southern Hbr wouldn't be good in any kind of Southerly. As best I can remember though they were forecasting only northerlies during and immediately after Earl.

My hesitation with Perrry's Creek and Pulpit is simply whether there would be enough room for all the boats likely to head there. I think I'd rather be on my own in a pretty good spot than in a well protected but very crowded spot. Perhaps the best of both words would be Seal Bay - we went in there the day after Earl, and while there were quite a few boats who came to get out of the storm, there was still room.

SG, I do think Smith Cove area would be good, but it's a bit of a haul from Rockland - given that most of these scares don't pan to an actual hit.

Thanks for the thoughts,
Max
