• What to do with expired marine flares?
  • HI Dan, I'll take a few. I'll
    • Had a good time even with the wind on the nose.
      • Come on Dan, the wind is always on the nose.
  • West Marine will take them.
  • It is good practice to use them
  • I have taken them to the local fire department
  • I know it is past the 4th... but can't you set them off as fireworks?
    • Nope,, and neither West Marina or the fire department will take them.
  • USCG auxiliary takes them here
    • Funny, here in Dana Point they won't let the Aux do it.
  • Sail far clear of other boats...
    • If you do that with rocket flares...
      • Be careful, you may get more attention than you think
